“As we approached Kvistrum as the sun began to set, the road followed the slope of a rocky mountain, sparsely covered with mossy greenery and occasional furrows started to appear… As we got closer, the scenery changed through the most delightful slopes with wildflowers.” This is how the Englishwoman Mary Wollstonecraft describes Kvistrum in 1795, then a junction with an inn and a courthouse.

Best location in town!! Lovely accommodation, near the river, if you like to fish here, and also a great cafe with Vietnamese ice coffee like you get it in Vietnam 🤩 The owners are super friendly!! We will definitely come again!!
